  • IS THE BARN AIR CONDITIONED?
    No, but we can open the barn on 3 sides to let air through and we also have ceiling fans.
  • IS SANDCASTLE FARM A WORKING FARM?
    Yes, we are always farming in some capacity.
  • ARE THERE RESTRICTED AREAS ON THE PROPERTY?
    Yes, there are 3 residences on the farm and we make sure these areas are marked.
  • IS THERE PARKING FOR MY GUESTS?
    Yes, parking is free and there is ample parking on property. We do provide parking attendants.
  • DO I NEED A DAY OF COORDINATOR OR WEDDING PLANNER?
    A venue coordinator is included in addition to a day-of coordinator. Your day of coordinator will create and manage your wedding day timeline and our venue coordinator manages the barn and barn staff. Partial and full planning services are available for an additional fee.
  • CAN I USE MY OWN VENDORS?
    Other than catering and day of coordination, you are free to choose your own professional vendors. We also send out a preferred vendors list when you book. All vendors must be licensed and insured to deliver the services you’ve hired them to provide. Insurance Certificates needs to be provided to The Barn at Sandcastle Farm 10 days prior to your wedding.
  • IS ALCOHOL ALLOWED AT MY EVENT?
    Yes, beer and wine are allowed with a signed waiver. Liquor may be served with with additional requirements (ABC permit required AND you must secure services from Bartenders Plus). Guests may not BYOB.
  • CAN I COME BY ANYTIME AND TAKE A TOUR OR LOOK AROUND?
    Sandcastle Farm does not have staff on site during the day. A staff member must be present for all tours and meetings. Please schedule your tour here or contact us at 704-420-5672 or sebron@barnatsandcastle.com for an appointment.
  • DO WE HAVE TIME TO PRACTICE OUR CEREMONY?
    Yes, a rehearsal hour is provided for each wedding package we offer. One hour rehearsal blocks provide you with the time to practice your wedding ceremony. However, rehearsals are not guaranteed to be scheduled the day before your wedding.
  • ARE DOGS ALLOWED ON PROPERTY?
    We welcome dogs to be part of the ceremony and on property for pictures. They must be leashed at all times. Someone must be responsible for handling, cleaning up after and taking them home after pictures are complete. Consider using our favorite pet chauffeur service Furever Friends.
  • DO YOU OFFER OVERNIGHT ACCOMMODATIONS?
    Not at this time.
  • DO YOU HAVE ANYWHERE FOR US TO GET READY?
    Yes, we have bridal cabin used for the bride and bridesmaids to get ready in. We also have a separate primitive cabin the guys can change in.
  • DO YOU HAVE RESTRICTIONS WITH SENDOFFS?
    We love fun sendoffs and staff will be there to assist. Please keep in mind, sparkler send offs may be cancelled depending on weather conditions.
  • DO YOU HAVE RESTRICTIONS ON DÉCOR?
    We have very little restrictions on décor and will assist in making your vision come to life. Décor will need to be free-standing as we don’t allow tacks, nails or holes in the walls.
